Macmillan Footprints – Our Past, Planet, and Society 3 is an integrated Social Science course designed to help learners understand the relationship between people, places, environment, culture, and society through engaging and activity-based learning experiences. The series follows the recommendations of NCF 2023 and promotes inquiry, exploration, observation, and discussion-based learning.

The book introduces students to important concepts related to family, neighbourhood, community, environment, geography, history, citizenship, and daily life through colourful illustrations, real-life examples, maps, activities, and projects. Learners are encouraged to think critically, ask questions, analyse information, and connect classroom learning with real-world situations.

The course adopts a learner-centred approach that develops essential 21st-century skills such as communication, collaboration, creativity, critical thinking, digital literacy, and life skills. Through hands-on activities and experiential learning, students gain a deeper understanding of society and the world around them.
